(VRHS) The Villages Railroad Historical Society

We meet the Second And Fourth Thursday of each month at the Colony Cottage Rec Center from 1 PM until 4 PM.
VRHS Information:
The Villages Railroad Historical Society is a group of men and women dedicated to fostering a deeper knowledge of railroading in Central Florida by encouraging the collection, preservation and interpretation of railroad history through conferences, publications, awards, educational programs and related historical activities. Members are presently building a model railroad in the Lady Lake Railroad Museum which represents railroad activity in the Lady Lake, Florida area in the 1940s & 1950s. The VRHS was incorporated and chartered as a non-profit 501c-3 Corporation in 2008. Contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

The Village Rail Fan Group is dedicated to increasing the knowledge and enjoyment of railroads by organizing excursions to operating railroad sites to study, photograph and enjoy actual railroad equipment and operations.
